Yes, you read that correctly. SunnyHills serves its guests a complimentary pineapple cake and cup of hot oolong tea with no obligations. The welcoming staff seats you and immediately presents the free snack, which you can enjoy in their comfortable environment without any pressure to buy anything.
If you like, you can purchase a nicely packaged box of their gourmet pineapple cakes after sampling. This would be a great gift to bring home, but it’s not required! You can visit for a taste of their product free of charge and walk out feeling totally satisfied, without ever reaching for your wallet.
Though we’re no experts on pineapple cakes, this one was nicely balanced with sour and sweet filling – SunnyHills is famous for its authentic and high-quality cakes with 100% pineapple filling. The hot oolong tea was a great accompaniment. For no cost, we had an enjoyable and relaxing evening with friends.
What’s the vibe?
Classy interior with nice ambience and great hospitality. It can get lined up in the afternoons, but the high turnover means you shouldn’t have to wait too long for a seat.
