[CLOSED] Delightful Brunch at Re-Delicious

***This restaurant has permanently closed***

Hidden away in an alley near Da’an station lies a cozy little restaurant with one of the best brunches in the city. Re-Delicious serves mixed dishes of multiple cuisines and somehow manages to nail them all.

Seriously. It’s earned the name delicious.

The interior is small and has warm vibes with its cutesy decor and soft music. A huge blackboard on the wall displays the restaurant’s menu and current specials alongside charming chalk drawings.

Don’t worry about not understanding Chinese – the simple paper menus have English translations.

We visited for Saturday brunch and sat down right away. Greeted with a diverse set of tempting options, our group decided to order a variety of plates and sample all of them. We did not regret this decision, as there were so many tasty dishes to try.

The pancakes are the specialty here. You’re given the option to choose 3 different flavours of the 6+ available in a single order for NT$270.

They were all great. Even the standard maple syrup & butter option was delectable, but the ultimate winners were the caramelized apple and blue cheese & caramelized onion varieties, which were simply divine.

The mac & cheese fries for NT$220 were gooey and flavoursome – a perfect comfort food.

The roasted chicken quesadillas with smoked cheese, bell pepper, onion, chili & salsa (NT$270) did not disappoint. Other tempting varieties include the taco beef with egg whites and the kimchi with corn & roasted chicken.

For dessert, we ordered a plate of fries with nutella and peanut butter drizzled on top for NT$130, satisfying multiple cravings in one. We only ordered it for the gimmicky nature, and probably wouldn’t order it again.

Sampling each of these dishes was a joy, and there are still more we want to go back for. The table next to us was eating a Thai green curry out of a bread bowl that looked very enticing.

What’s the vibe?

Cutesy restaurant with gentle music and a warm atmosphere.

Worth it?

Yes.

Re-Delicious absolutely lives up to its name. The prices are reasonable given the quality.

Would you go back?

Yes.

In fact, we’re adding it to our list of go-to restaurants. We’ll be back for our favourite dishes in addition to all the ones we still want to try.
