[CLOSED] Delectably Warm and Chewy Cookies at Coffee DPT

***This location has closed, but check out our post on the new location***

Deep within the jungles of Huashan 1914 Creative Park lies a chic coffee counter that bakes the best cookies in Taipei. Coffee DPT has a charming outdoor patio tucked behind the art exhibits, perfect for taking a caffeine break and indulging in a sweet treat. In a city that’s somewhat lacking in good cookies, this cafe blows the competition out of the oven.

Follow the hidden stone path through the greenery to find Coffee DPT, a bright and clean coffee counter with cute patio seating.

We visited on a Sunday afternoon after wandering through the creative park, and were relieved to find the quiet, sheltered space away from the crowds. We ordered at the counter and relaxed in our seats while waiting. The patio has a very pleasant and calming atmosphere.

Our cold brew coffee (NT$210) was served almost immediately in a custom Coffee DPT glass bottle. The coffee was strong and refreshing.

We also asked for fresh chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies, priced at NT$120 each (make sure to ask for freshly baked cookies, even if you need to wait a while – they’re worth it, and you can walk around the park in the meantime). They arrived still warm from the oven, baked perfectly to have a crisp outside and a gooey inside.

Sinking our teeth into these warm, chewy cookies made for a divine experience. Seriously, they were incredible. Both the chocolate chip and oatmeal flavours were packed with gooey goodness; we can’t for the life of us decide which one we liked better.

We have nothing but rave reviews for Coffee DPT – the coffee, dessert, and atmosphere were all exceptional.

What’s the vibe?

Charming coffee counter with sheltered outdoor garden seating. Order at the counter and wait for your treats to arrive to your table.

Worth it?

Definitely.

The coffee was strong and the warm, chewy cookies were absolutely delectable.

Would you go back?

Yes.

These cookies are worth returning for, and the pleasant vibes make it a great spot to take a break from exploring Huashan 1914 Creative Park.
